Solo 4x4 road trip with a husky!
A woman on a road trip, crisscrossing Europe and Central Asia with Nomad, her husky dog, and Pat, her 4x4!
It's going to be quite an adventure!
A great adventure lies ahead for Perrine, meeting the local populations of the countries she visits and discovering their different ways of life.
A long and beautiful solo expedition that will cross Europe to China via the Silk Road then Mongolia to the Middle East. The itinerary is flexible and there’s no fixed return date!
All of this, of course, in her 4x4, a Nissan Patrol Y61 specially fitted out for the occasion!
Perrine is passionate about sport and she will be making it an integral part of her road trip. She will be hiking with Nomad, but also working out whenever she can in any gyms she comes across.
The itinerary will become clearer as the journey progresses, and as she discovers new things and meets new people.
Departure is scheduled for late November 2024!

- Perrine, 34 years old - Addicted to sport and new challenges. She grew up on a sailboat. Profession: Physio. She took part in "Handi raid passion" a humanitarian action in Morocco, accompanying people with disabilities on raids. For Perrine who lives the life of an adventurer, where encounters are ephemeral it’s essential for her to forge friendships with the people she meets.
- Nomad is her 4-year-old Siberian husky. He’s a service dog and participates with Perrine in rehabilitation sessions.
Route
Perrine’s leaving France at the end of 2024 for Turkey for its winter heat before heading for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and India, then the ultimate destination is Nepal and Mongolia.
Then the idea is to head to the Middle East and Oman and then ship 'PAT the 4x4' to another continent.
The vehicle
Pat is a 2003 long-based Nissan Patrol Y61 and essential to this trip! It has 220,000 km on the clock and Perrine is the 2nd owner.
Perrine has started with some small mechanics and is learning to do as much as she can herself.
